RTView^® Enterprise Edition is an end-to-end monitoring platform that uses Solution Packages to gather and process performance metrics from a wide variety of different technologies, including Apache Tomcat.

With the Solution Package for Tomcat, you are able to drill down from a high level alert at a business service or application health level into the supporting Tomcat infrastructure to determine what is causing the alert and take corrective action.  This service-centric approach makes it easy for application support teams and Tomcat support personnel to prioritize incidents based on the impact to the business.

With the Solution Package for Tomcat, you can view the load and performance of a Tomcat server with historical trends of the number of sessions, accesses per second and throughput which are is critical in understanding load and growing needs for load balancing.  Understanding which applications are consuming Tomcat resources is facilitated by tracking Active sessions, access rates and latencies for each application.

The Solution Package for Tomcat provides a high level application activity heatmap for a high level, real-time health summary of your entire Tomcat environment.  The Solution Package also includes pre-built drilldown displays into the individual Tomcat modules and Tomcat servers with real-time and historical performance metrics to enable faster troubleshooting and facilitate capacity planning and load balancing.

Solution Packages include a data adapter, real-time memory cache, alert rule engine, pre-configured displays, and a data historian for persisting of real-time performance metrics.
